You can change a program in real time within the mux without the need to retune all the TV sets in the system.   The headend can be remotely programmed or monitored anytime or anywhere (PC and mobile). When a change is detected in the users configuration an alert e-mail is automatically sent.
ARP 2.0   MUX ad Hoc agile QAM or DTT
Assign a priority level to each program to guarantee continuity of service when a bit rate overflow occurs. All the programs will be sequentially restored when the global bit rate returns to within the system limits.   Create a mux with the chosen programs from up to 3 satellite transponders and manage all the descriptor parameters: just drag and drop the available channels into the mux.

Home fibre


Fibre Optic for DVB-T and SAT distribution systems in residential buildings up to 4 SAT + DVB-T over just one cable
From our extensive experience in signal management, Fracarro introduces the new Home Fibre, a highly innovative solution, designed
to enable fibre optic DVB-T and SAT distribution systems in residential buildings, from the antenna to the wall outlet.

 

Transmitter
The new Home Fibre optical transmitters work in the 2nd and 3rd optical transmission window (1310-1600nm) and manage both SAT signals - from a traditional 4 LNB and dish combination - including full bandwidth DVB-T terrestrial signals.
Equipped with automatic gain control (AGC), the solution - based on WDM technology - enables the distribution of up to 4 satellites plus full terrestrial plus data over just one fibre cable.

   

 

WDM diplexers
WDM diplexers are passive optical multiplexers and demultiplexers, enabling distribution of multiple optical signals at different wavelenghts through a single optical fibre network distribution. Suitable for Fracarro Home Fibre system as well as other WDM installations

   

 

Receivers
Our range of optical receivers includes several options, tailored to different system requirements: from the Quad with 4 universal outputs for direct connection to the TV, to the Quattro with five independent outputs (HL, VL, HH, VH and TV) for multiswitch systems. There is also a version available with a single terrestrial output.

   
Splitters, taps and optical cables
Characterised by their compact size, the Home Fibre splitters and taps distribute signals throughout the building on a single-mode fibre optic cable (operating wavelength 1260nm - 1590nm).
The innovative “MINI” optical connector, just 3mm in diameter, ensures that the wiring is easy in any installation environment. The cables are supplied pre-terminated and the optical connections are protected by suitable caps.

CCTV SDI

Full HD resolution over coaxial cable
The new CCTV HD SDI Fracarro range allows to realize systems with very high resolution by using the traditional coaxial cable. Moreover, this range
allows the upgrade of analogue CCTV existing systems, keeping the existing coaxial cable and simply replacing the analog DVR and cameras with
SDI devices. The products are easy to use and can be integrated with other Fracarro CCTV solutions as they work with the same interfaces and
installing procedures and use the same applications, such as Fracarro iDVR for remote management via smartphones.

IP-TV project


In early 2013, the prestigious Hotel Excelsior Venice Lido Resort in Venice (Italy) decided to upgrade their facilities by redesigning
more than 190 rooms and investing in new technology. Thanks to Fracarro and Samsung, the LAN network has been optimised
and upgraded for the distribution of data and satellite TV signals; the TV sets have been enhanced with IPTV technology, a range
of foreign channels have been implemented and the Wi-Fi service has been improved at all beach locations and outdoor common areas.

The solution   The advantages

The aim was to integrate new services and technology and the project started with the installation of a new system for the reception of domestic and foreign TV SAT signals.
Two antennas, the SIGMA8HD LTE and TERZA 6HD as well as two RO120N 1.2m dishes were used in the installation.

To transfer the signals from the antennas to the headend, located 7 floors below in the IT room, fibre optic cable was used to guarantee high efficiency and requiring a small space for cabling, therefore avoiding any major structural changes.

 

The IPTV solution proposed by Fracarro and Samsung has brought considerable advantages to the Excelsior Hotel in terms of services offered to customers and cost optimisation.
Amalgamation of different types of services into a single solution, with a significant reduction in cost due to the simplification of the structure.

- Reduction of major structural changes thanks to the fibre optic       distribution.
- Connectable to the hotel management system (PMS)
- Availability of internet and satellite TV signals on all LAN ports at     the Hotel (wired and Wi-Fi).
- Distribution of more than 100 Italian and foreign programs (free to air and pay to view) including: CNN, France 24, CCTV, RT Russia Today, Al Jazeera, Bloomberg, TV5 Monde, NHK World TV, BBC and CNBC, Euro News, ZDF, 3sat, TVE International.
- Remote management of the headend to resolve any problems and for any necessary routine maintenance. e.g. The modification of the   channel list without physical intervention to the TVs or tablet.

D-Matrix - Satellite headend, digital matrix

 

D-MATRIX is the new compact and flexible headend made by Fracarro to distribute SD and HD digital contents (both encrypted and free to air) over a medium sized installation.

Thanks to the multifunctional USB port, videos
